Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort
We will pick you up from the hotel at 8 am and take you to a very special national park called Tarangire. The park is famous for its diverse landscape with 9 different vegetation zones. It is particularly well-known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river in the park attracts wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.
The lunch area is fascinating and boasts an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive before heading to your accommodation.
Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing en route as you journey toward the endless plains of the Serengeti. Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera) in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive in one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.
Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort
After breakfast, travel to the Northern Serengeti, home to one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth the Great Migration Mara River crossings. Spend three full days exploring this remote and wildlife-rich region.
The area is famous for large herds of wildebeest and zebras, dramatic river crossings, resident predators, and stunning landscapes. Enjoy extensive game drives as you search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and countless other species.
Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort
After a morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, begin your journey back to Central Serengeti. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way as you traverse different ecosystems within the park.
Arrive in the Seronera region in the afternoon for an evening game drive.
Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and flamingos.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
