At Oxygen Adventures & Wellness, we offer high-quality “like new” rental gear that will serve you exceptionally well during your climb. Renting this gear instead of purchasing it can be a cost-effective option, as these items are often expensive on the retail market. Opting to rent will also reduce the bulk of your airline baggage, as items like sleeping bags, pads, and jackets tend to be some of the most cumbersome things to bring along for your Kilimanjaro adventure.
To reserve your rental gear, simply fill out our Rental Gear Request Form. Payment for the rental equipment will be collected in cash (USD) during the trip briefing, with bills from 2004 or newer. Please note that rental costs are not included in your booking form, and we do not accept credit cards—cash only. Rental gear is exclusively available to our clients.
For your convenience, the weight of the rental sleeping pad and trekking poles is not counted toward your porter weight limit if rented from us. However, the weight of the jacket and sleeping bag will be included in the porter weight limit calculation.
If you have requested ALTOX, please be aware that you can cancel it up to 30 days before your climb. Within 30 days of your climb, the full $350 fee will be charged at the trip briefing.
