Day 1: Arrival in Arusha / Moshi

Transfer from Kilimanjaro airport to your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha.
Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort

Day 2: Arusha to Manayara National Park

You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes.

The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described in words. The game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. In the afternoon, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner.

Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart toward the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains”. The park has an area of 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the great migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings which have been filmed in this park.

Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort

Day 4: Game drive in Serengeti national park

You will have a full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up times. For example, you could do a morning game drive, return for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is at its most active and the golden sunrise paints the savannah in breathtaking colors. After enjoying one last safari experience and a hearty breakfast, you’ll begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive in one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the Big Five, the crater offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing in a unique natural setting.

After your game drive and a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end. You will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, bringing home unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s remarkable landscapes and wildlife.

Accommodation: Wilderness Comfort

The journey unfolds with a symphony of sights and sounds: majestic dolphins dance alongside the vessel, their playful antics a prelude to the wonders awaiting onshore. Navigating through mangrove labyrinths, each twist and turn unveils hidden treasures – from rare bird species soaring overhead to elusive marine life darting beneath the waves.
