Booking & Cancellation (Return) Policy

When booking a trip with Oxygen Adventures and Wellness, please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

At Oxygen Lifestyle – Adventure & Wellness, our retreats, adventure journeys, and safari experiences are thoughtfully curated in partnership with local venues, guides, conservation teams, and accommodation providers. We create carefully curated experiences designed to support rest, fun adventures, exploration reconnection, and transformation. We understand that booking a wellness retreat or adventure is a meaningful commitment, and we aim to be transparent and fair in how we manage refunds. Because each experience requires advance planning and financial commitments, we maintain the following booking and cancellation policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all participants.

This policy applies to all bookings for retreats, adventure trips, and safari experiences operated by Oxygen Lifestyle – Adventure & Wellness.

1. Booking & Payment Terms

Deposit

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place on a retreat, adventure trip, or safari experience.

Balance Payment

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit and any partial payments made.

Oxygen Lifestyle reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payment deadlines are not met.

2. 30-Day Cooling-Off Period

We offer a 30-day cooling-off period from the date of your initial booking payment.

You may request a refund of any payments made within this 30-day period, provided that:

  • The departure date is more than 30 days away at the time of your refund request
  • The request is made in writing
  • The booking has not already commenced

Approved refunds are subject to a 5% non-refundable processing fee to cover transaction and administrative costs.

For bookings made via payment plans, the 30-day cooling-off period applies from the date of the first payment.

After the 30-day cooling-off period has passed, the standard cancellation terms below apply.

3. Cancellation by Participant (After 30 Days)

Due to advance commitments with accommodation providers, safari operators, guides, and local partners, the following cancellation fees apply after the cooling-off period:

  • 60 days or more before departure. Cancellation fee: 20% of total trip price.
  • 59–31 days before departure. Cancellation fee: 50% of total trip price. 
  • 30 days or less before departure. No refunds available.

Due to advance commitments with accommodation providers, safari operators, guides, and local partners, the following cancellation fees apply after the cooling-off period:

  • 60 days or more before departure. Cancellation fee: 20% of total trip price.
  • 59–31 days before departure. Cancellation fee: 50% of total trip price. 
  • 30 days or less before departure. No refunds available.
4. Cancellation by Oxygen Lifestyle

If a retreat, adventure trip, or safari cannot be confirmed or must be cancelled by Oxygen Lifestyle, all payments made will be fully refunded.

5. Transfers & Future Credits

Where possible and at our discretion, we may offer:

  • Transfer to another Oxygen experience within 12 months
  • Credit toward a future retreat or adventure

Administrative fees may apply.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended, including coverage for:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical expenses
  • Travel disruption
  • Personal belongings

Oxygen Lifestyle is not responsible for personal circumstances that prevent participation.

We encourage you to review all retreat and trip details carefully before booking, and to contact us with any questions prior to purchase. We are always happy to help you choose the experience that feels right for you.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email info@oxygenadventurewellness.com with the following details: 

  • Full name
  • Retreat, adventure trip, or safari name
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for request (optional)

If approved, refunds will be processed within 5 – 10 business days to the original payment method.
